Cypresswood Glen Estates Community Association

Background: A local community association needed a website to bring their homeowners and community together without breaking the budget. By using an off the shelf portal called DotNetNuke along with a purchased skin, I was able to meet their budget and give them the site they needed. The real benefit to the portal is the ability for users to keep the information updated. This is a key factor to keeping members returning over time.

Prime Time

Background: Stephen and Anneke Fisher are about to live the life everyone dreams of -- cruising the tropics aboard a boat. Their 53' Selene Trawler is a beautiful, fully equipped, twin engine motor vessel. They needed a website to document their adventures. Initially Steve created a blog using TypePad. He quickly outgrew its feature set and longed for a more comprehensive website. I assisted Steve in selecting a FrontPage template and implementing the website on a hosting service. To keep up with the Daily Ship's Log, I created a dynamically generated page using .NET. It can pull up and process individual log entries created in standard HTML format. The page includes entry navigation along with an RSS feed.
